Ever have your phone's gallery open for a second and close a second later? Well it is usually caused by a corrupt file. First, go to Settings>Appications>Manage>Find the Gallery and clear the data. See if that works, if not. Download a third party app from the Android Market like "3D Gallery" for free and delete any pictures that don't show up with a picture, you can't open, or don't remember taking a picture of. Usually that solves the problem.
